What "Custom WordPress" Actually Means
A lot of WordPress sites out there are a purchased theme with a new logo and a few stock photos swapped in. WordPress is the foundation and Elementor Pro is the page builder, but the layout, the structure, and how your services and story actually get presented on the page, that part is designed around your business.
Elementor Pro is a real drag and drop visual builder. It lets me design custom layouts section by section that actually match your brand and your content, instead of squeezing your content into someone else's layout. That's the part that makes it custom. The design decisions come from your business, and Elementor is the tool I use to build them without writing every line of front end code by hand.
Why It's a Good Fit for a Lot of Small Businesses
WordPress runs a huge share of the internet, and there's a reason for that. The plugin ecosystem means most things you'd need down the road, booking calendars, membership areas, advanced forms, already have a solid, well supported option instead of getting built from scratch every time. If your business publishes content regularly, blog posts, service updates, project photos, WordPress handles that well.
Once the site is live, it's yours to run. I hand off real editing control when the project wraps, so updating a headline, swapping a photo, or adding a service doesn't mean calling me and waiting a week. You should be able to keep your own site current without needing me for every small change.
It also tends to be a more cost effective path to a fully custom, professionally designed site. Building on WordPress and Elementor Pro means I'm not writing every interactive element from raw code, which keeps the timeline and the price more reasonable without cutting corners on the design.
What Happens After Launch
WordPress sites need some ongoing attention to stay fast and secure. Core updates, plugin updates, and backups aren't optional if you want the site running the way it did on launch day. Some clients handle that themselves once I walk them through it. Others would rather not think about it at all.
If you'd rather hand that off, my website hosting and maintenance service covers it: hosting, updates, backups, and someone to call if something looks off. Either way, you're never locked out of your own site or dependent on me for changes you want to make yourself.

It starts with a conversation about your business. Who your customers are, what they need to know before they reach out, and what isn't working about your current site or lack of one. From there I build out the structure and design in Elementor Pro in rounds, so you can see it take shape and give feedback along the way instead of reacting to a finished product at the very end.
Once the design is approved, I build the full site, get your content in place, test it across devices, and handle the technical setup that keeps it fast and searchable. Before launch, I walk you through making basic edits yourself.
